SMOKE FREE FGW.
From Sunday 1st July 2007, smoking will be prohibited at all First Great Western stations, when the governments legislation banning smoking in public places in England comes into effect. Smoking will be prohibited on all station concourses, ticket halls, footbridges, subways, retail outlets and platforms, whether they are covered or uncovered. Signage will be in place to clearly indicate where smoking is prohibited and the smokefree policy will apply to all First Great Western stations, whether they are manned or unmanned. All First Great Western trains are already smokefree and FGW thanks you for helping to now make its stations a better environment for its customers
